Whangarei is the commercial centre of the Northland region. Surrounded by some of the regions most spectacular beaches and scenery, it has also become the region's playground and cultural centre.is a mere twenty minute drive away.

A lovely harbour town with style, character and a host of facilities such as theatres,  Inns, cinemas and a variety of restaurants with international themes.

The parks are flawless and include tree top height walkways (Reed Memorial Park),  a rose garden and Whangarei Falls.  

Not to be missed is the town harbour-basin (left) for a cafe meal, or a look around the unique gift shops and museums.  More information via the links at the bottom of the page.
